Out of how many years I followed, mine and I know a lot of people's idol when it comes to skratching and mixing, DJ QBert from highschool all the way til now. Back in the day, I was more involved, you know like trying and practicing on how to mix even tho I didn't have bank for the equipment which is it's always good to know people who have the equipment! Although nowadays, life got busier and still no equipment to try to get the groove back, and experiment with different sounds. ASIDE FROM ALL THAT, I finally got to see QBert in person and listened to him skratch with DJ ShortKuts and D-Styles! Best believe they all threw down hard which rattled the art of turntablism into my head again! I was literally bobbing my head hard all around people who were goin to the music too. This is going to happen some time in life! Just need some moola to get the materials needed to relearn this move forward! Watch, you never know I might be making masterpieces since I would be trying to somehow make mixes where it would be mainly Hip-Hop and/or Electronic although I feel like I would be more on the Hip-Hop side due to the fact I always wanted to be a skratch artist! Anyways enough of that check the pictures out that I took of this event!

So we planned another shoot again but this time a different bridge and different type time of day! Change is good and constant shooting! I need to hurry up and get my license so I can be making some dough to get new camera equipment so I can expand my photo game more, I'm doin alright with the equipment I have now but could always be better...

I always love shooting at night! Idk I feel more creative at night I mean is it just me or do others feel it too? I even remember when the homies were down with shooting everything, not just cars. At least now I found someone who's down with it and slowly bringing the drive for shooting out again! Maybe now I might be producing more good photos again! Give it some time and money, maybe I'll start doing videos again but only time will tell.
So the homegirl from Philz aka my Philz wife, told me to shoot with her in the city and I was like why the hell not, lets do it! Most of the pictures I shot in the city before was all night shots so she wanted to shoot in the day and I was pondering and pondering until I was like fcuk it, I'll give it a try. In the Filipino culture, we have this thing where we have a second mother like she loves you as her own son type of thing! So I call her Mama Lina cause she watched over me for awhile, while my parents went to the US Embassy in the Philippines in order for me to fly and become a citizen in America! Took care of me as one of her own until my parents came back! She also came to me when I was in the hospital for the major incident in 2013 which made my recovery a lot smoother. Makes me so thankful to have her in my life! Thank You for everything you have done and will do! I just have to marry a girl before her visa expires LOL jk!
